Shelley Roos, Esq. Shelley Roos is a partner in the Law
Offices of Roos & Roos, which has offices in Woodland Hills and Los
Angeles. She handles estate planning, trust administration and
probate, which have been the focus of her practice for 23 years. She
established Roos & Roos with her husband in 2007, after having
worked for Bezaire & Associates, an estate planning firm since 1989.
She has been practicing law since 1977. Shelley conducts seminars
about estate planning, trust administration and probate for local
organizations.
Leonard M. Roos, Esq. – A contract, transaction and
intellectual property specialist, Mr. Roos, is a partner in Roos & Roos,
LLP. Following his graduation from Loyola University School of Law
in 1971, Mr. Roos served first as a "Program Attorney" and a few
years later, after sevral promotions, as the Vice President of
American Broadcasting Company's West Coast Contracts Department.
In 1980 he left ABC to build an import company with a family friend.
As one of two founders, Leonard was responsible for creating its
legal and business form and structure as well as assisting in the
development of business, factory and banking relationships that
turned out to be eminently successful. By 1985 with
demonstrated profitability for a number of years, he accepted a
generous offer for his interest in the company and returned to the
practice of law in the later part of 1985. Since then he has
concentrated on drafting and negotiating all manner of business
contracts with an emphasis on entertainment contracts for the
acquisiton or sale of entertainment properties, and for television
and motion picture financing, production and distribution.
Mr. Roos is a graduate of the University of Southern California and
Loyola University School of Law. He has been a member of the
Copyright Society, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the
State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the
American Bar Association and all four Federal Bars in California.
